David Manning, VP and General Manager
David Manning, our Chief Financial Officer, resides in Sandown, NH with his wife Donna and their three children, Josh, Meaghan and Matt.
David worked for 24 years in a high tech corporate setting with various leadership roles in an operations and manufacturing environment. He began college as a psychology major at Merrimack College but changed gears and received a Bachelors of Science from Southern New Hampshire University in Business Studies with a concentration in Business Administration. David has a long term goal of obtaining his Masters in Business Education and to teach at the collegiate level.
What David likes about the building business is that we are able to provide a product that brings utility and satisfaction to the customer. He likes being able to see a product and customers first hand as opposed to be insulated from the them as he was for so many years in the large corporate world. He also appreciates the opportunity to be able to work and serve the community in which he lives.
David loves working at Dube-Plus. For David, the transition from a large company to a small company has been wonderful mainly because he finds the impact of everything that is done as an individual is amplified. David says, “Everyone is important and plays a key role in the success of the company. Dube-Plus fosters a culture of teamwork and capitalizing on people’s strengths. It is a company that really does believe in its vision of values and beliefs. The company’s mission statement isn’t just for show but really is the underlying principle by which we operate day in and out. Bottom line is we can be counted on 'to do what is right'."
David’s favorite thing is to be with his children and watch them perform in their various activities which range anywhere from sports, dance, music, to scouts. He has enjoyed coaching and being involved in their pursuits over the years. His personal hobbies usually involve some type of outdoor activity which may include tennis, mountain biking, running, skiing or simply going for a walk with his wife. For him heading north to the mountains usually provides a tranquil escape to the daily grind. David’s future plans include returning to fly fishing, sailing, traveling to the south and west, spending time in Ireland, and returning to teaching religious education.
David enjoys the challenges of being an important part of the Dube-Plus Team.
