Dube~Plus Joins 40,000 Man Hour Support of Serv-A-Palooza

East Kingston – A workforce from Dube~Plus Construction in Hampstead partnered with over 5,100 worldwide volunteer employees from the Timberland Company in their 10th annual Serv-A-Palooza event.

Serv-A-Palooza is outlined as a worldwide community service initiative of the Timberland Company whose New England home is in Stratham. Employees at the Timberland Company, a leader in the design, engineering and marketing of premium-quality footwear, apparel and accessories, partake in the Path of Service™ benefit program which allows them paid time to volunteer in their communities. This year, over 40,000 man hours were spent time creating a positive impact in communities worldwide.

Volunteers from Dube~Plus Construction, a local building and remodeling contractor in Hampstead joined about 90 other participants to construct a 30’ x 40’ pavilion at the YMCA Camp Tricklin' Falls in East Kingston. Bob Bogosh, a project coordinator with Dube, led the crews and coordinated the construction of the pavilion. “This is the third time we’ve worked with Timberland and Serv-A-Palooza. It is uplifting to play a role in giving back to the commuinty.”

The new pavilion will shelter up to 150 counselors and kids from wet weather or blazing sun during the summer programs. And the funds that the YMCA had earmarked for the project can now be used for financial assistance for the kids in the program says Tracy Fuller, YMCA executive director.

Amidst the sounds of saws and hammers and with sawdust laden hair, Bogosh grins and says, “Last year it was a 50’ climbing tower, this year the pavilion we are already excited about next years project.
